2018 Koep's Walleye Challenge

on Lake Minnewaska.
This is a two-man team tournament with the entry fee of $300.00, Deadline to enter August 28th. There is a limit of 50 boats - so get your entry in early.
Tournament will run from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. All boats will go out at the same time, however we you will come into the scales by flights. Boats 1-25 will need to be in by 2:30 and boats 26-50 need to be in by 3:00 on Saturday. On Sunday we will go out in reverse order, and boats 26-50 will need to be in by 2:30 and boats 1-25 in by 3:00.
Only walleyes will be weighed. Each team may weigh six fish daily. Minimum size for Walleye is 15 inches, and only one over 20 inches per man. This is a live release tournament. Each contestant should do all they can to insure the well being of their catch.
Attendance is mandatory by at least one team member at the rules meeting. No Exceptions! Each team will receive their boat number on Friday night, and must keep it in the boat both days. Losing your boat number will cost you $10.
Captains docks will serve as the official weigh-in site. The scales will be open all day. All boats in the first flight need to be in line past timekeeper by 2:30 - and the second flight need to be in line past timekeeper at 3:00. Sunday flight times will be reversed. If you measure a fish that does not meet the required lengh, it will result in the loss of weight of that fish, plus your big fish. One person from each team will be required to sign your weigh-in slip at weigh-in.
This is the sixth year Koep's has put on this tournament, and we are hoping for a great turnout. We have a lot of great sponsors and local support to help with the event and make it a success.
