Fishing Report Lake Minnewaska 8/16/17

If you are looking for a good sunfish bite, go to Lake Minnewaska. Head towards 10-13 feet of water, if your in the weeds, fish in 8 feet, just right above the

weeds. Bobber fishing, or sight fishing will work great. Leeches are your best bait, but if you can't find any of them, night crawlers would be your next choice.

Walleye's are out in about 20-25 feet, and are already starting to transition into their fall patterns. May people are already pulling lead core, trying to get down

to the bottom to pull those big ones out. Others are pulling plugs right over the top of the weeds and have been successful doing it that way.

We still have leeches available, they are not big, but we have them, and are just selling them by the one dozen.

All our summer tackle is all 20% off, this does not include the rods that are already on sale. Stop in we are open at 5:30

in the morning, and will have the coffee on for you.
