Lake Minnewaska Fishing Report 5/5/2017
Fishing Report 5/5/2017
With the warmer temperatures we have been having, it will not only warm up the water, but it will get the
crappie bite going again. Right now the water temp is between 51-52, with the nice weather it will go up
these next few days. If you ae looking for crappies, out by the DNR Landing is a good choice. You will find the
crappies suspended in about 14 feet of water. White and Pink tube jigs tipped with a crappie minnow will be
a good choice. If you looking for somewhere to fish from shore heading to Hobo park is a good option, or the bridge
by Captain's Bar & Grill. We are gearing up for opener, our leeches, worms and minnows are in. The tackle is up
and now we just need the Walleye's to cooperate. Remember we are your first stop before the lake, we have everything
you need before you hit the water.
