12/16/16 - Ice Update on Minnewaska and Reno

The ice on both lakes is anywhere from 4-8 feet. Still very spotty on thickness. On both Minnewaska and Reno there has been

ATV and snowmobile travel out there. Smaller permnament houses have been showing up on both lakes as well. There was a

truck that broke thru on the landing by the beach on Minnewaska, so that landing is kinda beat up right now. I would suggest a different

access, if at all possible. There is about 2-5  inches of snow on the lake as well, and more snow to come this week-end. Hopefully this weather pattern

will break and the fishing will start to pick up. Remember to stop in for all your needs before you hit the lake. It's our Holiday Open House till Sunday,
